說明。 本文共分三部分： 一是本人對方舟子們“轉(zhuǎn)基因無害論”造假謊言的評論與駁斥，二是本人翻譯的海地農(nóng)民反轉(zhuǎn)基因的報道， 三是本人翻譯的美國網(wǎng)民對海地農(nóng)民行動的聲援和對孟山都公司及其轉(zhuǎn)基因的痛斥。 　　

　引言。 科學(xué)界的共識：老鼠是人的替身。國外眾多試驗一致的結(jié)論是：目前的轉(zhuǎn)基因食品危害老鼠健康，當(dāng)然也會危害人體健康。作為所謂生物學(xué)博士的方舟子既然敢鼓吹轉(zhuǎn)基因無害論，那他是不會承認(rèn)用老鼠做實驗的結(jié)果了，我們不禁要問，是不是應(yīng)該用方舟子及其家人來做轉(zhuǎn)基因食品有毒有害的實驗?zāi)兀糠街圩蛹热灰罅ν茝V轉(zhuǎn)基因，理所當(dāng)然應(yīng)該為科學(xué)的驗證而勇做實驗品。如果你不敢，你憑什么鼓吹轉(zhuǎn)基因無害論？！ 你怎么推翻轉(zhuǎn)基因食品有毒有害的實驗結(jié)論呢？ 就憑你一張大嘴和你背后的邪惡利益集團(tuán)？難道你的言行不是典型的造假嗎？你是不是該痛打你自己呢？而方舟子的造假比任何獨立個人造假的危害要大20億倍以上！因為美國最近有揚言中國要成為國際轉(zhuǎn)基因糧食宣傳的形象大使，如果方舟子與美國的陰謀詭計在中國成功，至少會直接威脅中國13億人民的健康，美國同時會強迫其他無辜的國家按同樣的方式強推轉(zhuǎn)基因，所以，保守的估計，至少會直接危害20億人口！方舟子除了在轉(zhuǎn)基因問題上喪盡天良地拼命造假外，其他造假行為網(wǎng)絡(luò)都有揭露，感興趣的網(wǎng)友請自己網(wǎng)搜：“打假方舟子第一…七案”以及“方舟子在轉(zhuǎn)基因問題上肆無忌憚的欺騙”。 　

一． 目前的轉(zhuǎn)基因食品不是方舟子們所說的無害，而是危害巨大！　　

美國公民方舟子最近在中國至少上演了兩個天大的奇跡！　　

一個天大的奇跡是，盡管國外有眾多的實驗證明目前乃至未來的轉(zhuǎn)基因食品對動物、人體和環(huán)境至少存在8大危害， 但方舟子和農(nóng)業(yè)部卻對此只字不提！ 這些危害是：1. 危害內(nèi)臟器官，例如肝臟、腎臟； 2. 危害免疫系統(tǒng)，讓人可能犯上過敏癥并降低免疫力、降低體重； 3. 繁殖系統(tǒng)，導(dǎo)致生育力下降和絕育； 4. 危害血液系統(tǒng)，容易染上血液病； 5. 破壞動植物生態(tài)環(huán)境，污染土壤，危害或者殺死其他動植物；6. 危害生物多樣性，最后可能導(dǎo)致只能種植轉(zhuǎn)基因作物或者養(yǎng)殖轉(zhuǎn)基因動物； 7. 轉(zhuǎn)基因公司形成技術(shù)和利益的全面壟斷，從而控制糧食生產(chǎn)和人類的休養(yǎng)生息,并從中牟取暴利；8. 在必要的時候可以用作武器，導(dǎo)致種族滅絕！ 百多年前，入侵北美的白種人用天花病毒讓本土的主人印第安人滅絕，在“以轉(zhuǎn)基因技術(shù)為核心的現(xiàn)代生物”技術(shù)條件下，轉(zhuǎn)基因產(chǎn)品被用作種族滅絕武器絕對是小菜一碟！　　

自稱在某美國大學(xué)獲得生物學(xué)博士的科普作家方舟子難道對這些危害一無所知？難道國內(nèi)媒體和農(nóng)業(yè)部門對這些危害也和方舟子一樣一無所知？ 但目前方舟子一張大嘴卻在高喊轉(zhuǎn)基因無害，還有農(nóng)業(yè)部某官員和一些喪盡天良的所謂專家學(xué)者在背后為他搖旗吶喊！從方舟子和農(nóng)業(yè)部某官員以及專家學(xué)者們報喜不報憂、報好不報害的事實來看，只能說明他們完全淪為了危害人類和生態(tài)環(huán)境的邪惡利益集團(tuán)的代言人，他們無視轉(zhuǎn)基因的巨大風(fēng)險和危害，他們的道德品質(zhì)何在？他們的學(xué)術(shù)誠信何在？ 他們的基本人格和良知何在？ 他們的言行還有多少可信度？　　

　最近，肩負(fù)美國來中國推廣轉(zhuǎn)基因的形象大使美國公民方舟子不負(fù)重托，一篇發(fā)表在搗漿糊的《中國青年報》上的《轉(zhuǎn)基因恐慌》，在他所謂的受皮肉輕傷襲擊形成的第一次高潮后，經(jīng)過國內(nèi)主流媒體的癲狂大合唱，莫名奇妙把這個轉(zhuǎn)基因形象大使推向了第二個高潮，也使方舟子露出了猙獰的轉(zhuǎn)基因本來面目！　

一個美國無業(yè)游民很可能因演出了一場現(xiàn)代苦肉計而竄升為國家領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人級別的待遇；在中國受襲擊并受點皮肉輕傷早已司空見慣，解放思想永無止境的派出所干警可能理都不會理的小案子，竟然因為受襲者是轉(zhuǎn)基因形象大使美國公民方舟子而驚動了中國公安部，這不能不說是又一個天大的奇跡！

It is also known for intimidating and suing farmers and small agricultural companies it claims have violated its contracts and patents, including farmers whose fields have been contaminated by pollen from adjacent genetically engineered crops or who have had voluntary seed sprout from a previous year's crop. By 2007 Monsanto had already collected over $21.5 million in judgments in the U.S. alone.

Monsanto is also infamously known for the deaths and health problems resulting from its highly toxic herbicide product Agent Orange, which caused cancer in large numbers of U.S. Veterans. GMO farming is the worst--the very worst disaster ---to ever hit this planet! We are already eating and drinking more than enough pesticides. The politicians (at least most of them) don't seem to give a damn! I get terrible reactions when I eat anything containing GMOs. No wonder when you learn what you are eating!

可他媽的誰在保護(hù)我們啊？

環(huán)保局多年來一直只保護(hù)大企業(yè)，而不是他們理應(yīng)保護(hù)的人民大眾。

Bravo to those Haitian farmers. Unlike most of our farmers, they've obviously done their research, and know that GM food is just another way for certain Western companies to control the world food supply.　　

Shame on Monsanto for pretending that their toxic 'donation' was intended to help Haiti. Shame on Monsanto of exploiting the hardship and poverty of others to grab control.　　

Shame on you and the other multinationals who are eroding our diversity and free choice. I feel ashamed for your children and grandchildren who do not realise that their comfortable little lives are built on the misery, poverty and hunger of millions of other little children. I feel ashamed for them when one day they realise that their own countrymen are being fed toxic food because of your greed.　　

Should politicians do anything to stop GM foods? Of course they should. But most of them probably have fingers in the profit-making pie, as they do in the big profitable pharmaceutical pie and the armaments pie. Don't look for help there.　　

It's up to us to demand action, to put our votes where they count, to support GM free industries and farms. It's up to us to be willing to pay a little more for healthy food, so that more farmers and small grocers can make a decent living providing it for us.

I think the point is quite simple:
1. Haiti needs help recovering from their natural disaster
2. Haiti needs to rebuild everything for their future
3. The rejection of Monsanto's "donation" does not mean Haiti needs no help, it means the "help" from Monsanto comes at too high a price
4. The future of the food production and biodiversity of Haiti will/may be irreparably compromised if the seed provided by Monsanto is utilized　　

Help today at the cost of tomorrow is not exactly "Help". 　　

If we sent the Army Corps of Engineers and the Navy CB to Haiti to rebuild their city out of cardboard it would provide shelter, but for how long, and at what cost in the future? Would that be a valuable donation?　　

Not every gift is worthy of receipt. In the case of the Monsanto seed, the Haitian farmers are careful and cautious about preserving their future and the future of their young at the expense of a donation that may cost them more in the long run than it cost them now. 　　

Americans (we) have a difficult time recognizing that tomorrow is more important than today. The Haitians have a much stronger grasp on that concept than we do.

So maybe you should actually look into the claims that you are making instead of saying its ridiculous crap and burying your head in the sand.

Let me clarify for you:
1. "i remember them getting criticized for making seeds that make sterile plants" - sterile plants means you can't let some plants go to seed, save them, and generate a new crop from those seeds the next year. Instead, you have to head back to Monsanto and spend more $ next year. 　　

2. "they get criticized for their gmos dumping their genetics into the global gene pool" - GMOs freely mixing with other non-GMO plants thank to air pollinating crops such as corn means the overall variety of crop genetics becomes dwindled and gradually more crops become fertilized w. GMO pollen. More of the same type of plant (on a genetic level) means higher likelihood of broad disease spread, lack of disease resistance, and possibly even a reduction in nutritional value. GMO cropping makes it difficult for other farmers to protect the heirloom varieties of the same crop thanks to cross-pollination (at which point Monsanto has been known to sue the non-GMO farmer because their crop could not be considered Monstanto crop). 　　

If that doesn't make sense to you, you should think deeply about who the real idiot in this situation is.

Monsanto is only trying to get their foot in the door on the agriculture market. Luckily there are a few Haitians that are smart enough to close the door in their face.

If you have been reading, there appears to be more than just "armchair agronomists" commenting on this article. I happen to be an agronomist that spends much of my time in the third world, and I can tell you that the advantages of open pollinated (heirloom) seeds are real. There are many reasons why the Haitians are wise to reject this so called gift, the least of which is not Monsanto's horrible track record. Gm and hybrid seeds are always going to favor the producer,always! Hybrid seeds have their advantages in certain farm production, but not in developing or unstable countries.

Yes, Haiti can grow food with these seeds, but at what cost?! Once absorbed into their agriculture, Monsanto owns the island. Haitians aren't stupid like Americans. They see that the patents Monsanto imposes on American farmers will ruin them.
